In a groundbreaking move, Google and the Ministry of Industry and Technology (Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakanlığı) have joined forces to develop AI literacy in Turkey. This strategic partnership aims to capitalize on the immense potential of artificial intelligence (AI) to transform the country's economy.
According to the ministry, AI is expected to contribute a staggering **$96 billion** to Turkey's economy by 2035. With this ambitious goal in mind, the partnership has launched the 'Herkes İçin Yapay Zeka' platform to make AI education accessible to everyone.
The platform offers **16 different courses** covering topics from basic AI literacy to advanced skills for professionals and entrepreneurs. The program is designed to cater to three distinct target audiences:
1. **Yapay Zeka Öğrenenler**: Focuses on providing fundamental AI knowledge and awareness to the general public.
2. **Yapay Zeka Uygulayıcıları**: Empowers professionals and businesses to optimize their workflows using AI tools, enabling operational efficiency and productivity.
3. **Yapay Zeka Yenilikçileri**: Supports specialized engineering teams in developing localized, cutting-edge AI solutions.
By democratizing access to AI education, the partnership aims to not only equip individuals with essential skills but also drive innovation and economic growth in Turkey.
